Deji Fawole

Mr. Fawole is a Senior Project Manager with SCS Engineers (USA) with over 30 years of experience in solid waste engineering projects covering site and geotechnical investigations, design, management, constructability reviews, and construction.
Mr. Fawole’s international project assignments with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), USEPA, and Climate and Clean Air Coalition Municipal Solid Waste (CCAC MSW) Initiatives in Nigeria, Ghana, and Ethiopia have included evaluation of solid waste management practices (waste collection and disposal; technical assessments of waste disposal sites, feasibility of a landfill gas project; and evaluation of new landfill site) and technical training in integrated solid waste management.

Mr. Fawole is a member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Working Group on Landfill. He is also a member of the ISWA African Regional Chapter, the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA), and the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA). He serves on the Advisory Board of the ISWA African Regional Chapter and Chair of the Technical and Research Committee.
