Eng. Senam Tengey

Senam Tengey is a waste management professional specializing in hazardous and medical waste management. He currently serves as General Manager of Medical Waste Services Limited. He holds a first-class degree in Biomedical Engineering and an MSc in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is pursuing a PhD in Healthcare Waste Management at Liverpool John Moores University through distance learning.
Senam is a Professional Engineer and member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering. He also serves on technical working groups of the International Solid Waste Association and the African Society for Laboratory Medicine. He has trained over 20,000 healthcare workers, established seven medical waste treatment facilities in Ghana, contributed to national policy development, and co-authored eight international academic journals on healthcare waste management.
