Ms. Georgina Wachuka is the Regulatory & Compliance Affairs Executive at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), bringing over 20 years of private sector experience, including more than a decade within the manufacturing sector. In her role, she provides strategic leadership on regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability, and responsible business conduct, supporting manufacturers to navigate complex regulatory frameworks while strengthening long-term industrial competitiveness.

At KAM, Georgina serves as a technical and policy advisor to industry, leading initiatives that integrate ESG principles, circular economy practices, climate action, and responsible care into manufacturing operations. She is the responsible care kenya Focal Point, supporting the localization of the global Responsible Care Initiative and advancing chemical safety, environmental performance and community stewardship across the sector

Georgina is recognized for her expertise in industrial chemicals management and is a certified trainer on the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), playing a critical role in strengthening industry capacity on chemical safety, risk communication, and regulatory compliance.
She also brings capabilities in greenhouse gas data modelling, providing both strategic and operational support to manufacturers on climate reporting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability interventions. Her work sits at the nexus of policy development, industry practice, and environmental stewardship, positioning her as a trusted advisor and thought leader in Kenya’s green transition and sustainable industrial development.
