Joyce Gachugi

Joyce Gachugi Waweru is a sustainability and circular economy leader with over 18 years of experience in shared value and corporate sustainability across the manufacturing, technology, energy, and consumer goods sectors. As CEO of PAKPRO, she is leading efforts to advance Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and embed circular economy principles into business operations and industry practices in Kenya.

Joyce has received specialized training in Circular Economy from the University of Cambridge and Extended Producer Responsibility from the University of Copenhagen. Recognized as a Global Sustainability Leader by the US Green Chamber of Commerce, she is also an active member of the Rotary Lavington Eco Club. Committed to promoting gender equality, she champions women’s empowerment initiatives within her organization and the broader business community while advancing sustainable development and inclusive impact.
