Liberatha Kawamala

Liberatha is an East Africa Earth Champion eco warrior from Tanzania who strives to save our mother planet Earth through her social enterprise known as Libe Green Innovation.
She is self-driven and committed to solving the problem of plastic waste in Tanzania through innovations in her waste management and Green business. This led to her being awarded by the Tony Elumelu Foundation in Nigeria, through the United Nations Development Program in Tanzania and Top 100 Young Conservation Leaders in Africa Also Women Entrepreneurship for Afrika (WE4A)
Liberatha received the Young Tanzania Global Leader in World Women Conference Award, and she is a Top 100 Young Leader Conservation Leader in Africa and the East Africa Earth Champion and the Top 10 influential women in Tanzania Development and She Wins Africa by IFC-World Bank.
In addition to being a Global Partner in fighting marine Litters, she is also a global goal champion working to support Sustainable Development Goals 8 and 9. As she works on promoting decent jobs creation, entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation and encourage the formalization and growth of microsmall and medium sized enterprises.
