Chief Executive Officer - D Nigeria Limited. Member - International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) Africa Regional Chapter Advisory Board
Margaret Dara Oshodi is a Nigerian-American entrepreneur and the founder of D Nigeria Limited, an integrated waste management and consultancy company. With over two decades of sustained growth in the industry, she has built the business from a single 1-ton refuse collection truck and roll-on roll-off container system into a large-scale operation managing over 100-ton truck capacity.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos (1990) and is a SWANA-certified Manager of Municipal Solid Waste Collection and Recycling Systems, a credential she has maintained since August 2010 and is currently valid through 2029 (Certificate #96597). Her certification reflects adherence to North American industry standards in waste management operations.
Margaret is an active member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), contributing to the Working Group on Waste Prevention, Recycling, and Minimisation (WGRWM), as well as initiatives focused on collection and transportation technologies.
Through D Nigeria Limited, she maintains a working Memorandum of Understanding with (B)energy GmbH, enabling access to innovative mobile biogas technologies, training, and scalable service models for global deployment.
A committed participant in ISWA World Congresses, she has engaged in technical exchanges and program sessions across multiple continents, including Lisbon (2009), Brazil, South Korea, Malaysia, Bilbao, and Argentina (2025).
In addition, she is a member of the 2018 Harvard HBX Sustainable Business Strategy cohort, an environmental justice advocate, and an active member of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
