Peter Ohon

Peter Ohon is a Senior Sustainability Advisor at Kenya National Cleaner Production Centre (KNCPC). He holds a BA (Math & Geography) and a Post Graduate Cert. (Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methodology). He has been in Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) since 2014. Besides the SMEP-supported RECP Project in Nairobi Rivers Basin, he was the Technical Coordinator at ARSCP for Industrial Symbiosis Component of the EU/UNEP Switch Africa Green Project; coordinated Pilot ARSO/GIZ EcoMark Africa environmental certification initiative; involved in the WB/NDF supported Engaging Private Sector for Green Growth Project; and the focal-point for the Kenya-Denmark Strategic Sector Corporation on Circular Economy. He brings in insights from EIA profession, Responsive Project Management and Gender and Social Inclusivity into programming and policy development. His current research and practice interest areas include green financing, industrial symbiosis, plastic waste management, gender & environment.
